Martin Acevedo Marte, Founder and President

The Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame (HBHOF)

The Latino baseball Hall of Fame (LBHOF)

The Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame is incorporated in the State of New York (USA) and is a Not-For-Profit Organization. [501 (c) (3)].  The world's only unified Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame Network, dedicated to preserving and expanding the glory of our heritage,  history, and future of Hispanic Baseball Players around the globe. HBHOF will establish satellites Hall of Fames in the Latino American region to network and help expand our Hispanic Heritage talents around the globe.

Founder and President, Mr. Martin Acevedo Marte:

“In 1995 I was moved by the sight of a young boy, he was about 9 years old and his name was Johnny, he was playing with one shoe in a rugged and rocky baseball field in the Dominican Republic.  I saw his passion for the game of baseball. The young child’s passion helped me understand why Roberto Clemente is my personal and baseball hero.  I understood what baseball meant, and why the game was bigger than any man.  I realized it was a game that transcended race, gender and culture, and the dream of the Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame was born.”

We will tell untold stories of thousands of great baseball players in Latino America that never made it into the Majors. The Achievements and glory only lives in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to see, and hear the great achievements of these great athletes.  The Latino America’s untold story has a voice that will be heard around the globe.

The Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame will recognize the contributions made to baseball by Hispanic professional baseball players in the United States of America, Latino America and Internationally.

The Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame is committed to preserving the history and achievements of our culture and Heritage. HBHOF will fill the need to acknowledge the accomplishments of the Hispanic amateur and professional baseball players from around the globe, they have made great accomplishments  against all odds. Our primary purpose is to provide a Hall of Fame that will provide displays of Hispanic Baseball history and showcase the achievements of Hispanic baseball players in order to educate future generations on the true meaning of diversity, as exemplified in Baseball.

The dream is a reality through HBHF’s hard work and efforts to establish affiliations with lovers of the game of Baseball.

The Hispanic Baseball Hall of Fame will be built on donations from individual/private donors, fund raising events, corporate sponsors and lover of the game.
